Four years ago I pulled over off the 405 to listen to an exclusive radio debut of "American Idiot" from Green Day. I had tears in my eyes it nailed me so damn good.
That election year saw compilations like "Rock/Punk Against Bush" and other assorted cool music. What they really were, were conceptual campaigns that had movement.
And movement is what is needed. That's why there's not much this year, IMO. Intelligient folks have wondered outside the two-party boxing ring to find solutions to our socio-political duress.
